Tencent Translate API

1. Apply for a Free API

Open the Tencent Machine Translation Console: https://console.cloud.tencent.com/tmt. If you're not logged in, you'll be redirected to the login page. After logging in, reopen the page and agree to the pop-up agreement to use it for free. You get a generous 5 million free characters per month, 100 times more than Baidu.

2. Create AppId and Secret Key

After completing the first step, open this address: https://console.cloud.tencent.com/cam/capi

Click "Continue to Use".

Then, on this page, click "Create Secret Key." This will automatically create a pair of ID and secret key.

Copy the SecretId and SecretKey.

Fill them in the "Settings - Tencent Translation Settings" menu.

Important Notes:

Most AI translation channels may limit the number of requests per minute. If you encounter an error indicating that you've exceeded the request frequency, you can set a delay in the software's "Menu -- Tools/Advanced Settings -- Advanced Settings/set.ini -- Pause time after translation" option. For example, setting it to 30 means the software will wait for 30 seconds after each translation before proceeding with the next one, avoiding exceeding the frequency limit and causing errors.
