Alibaba Cloud Bailian API as a Channel for Subtitle Translation and Speech Recognition

Models starting with qwen-mt and text generation models starting with qwen- can be used as translation channels for subtitle translation. Models starting with qwen3-asr can be used for speech recognition.

1. First, go to the Alibaba Cloud Bailian platform to create and copy an API key. Address: https://bailian.console.aliyun.com/?tab=model#/api-key
2. Paste the copied API key into the API key field under Menu - Translation Settings - Open-MT in this software.

Using the Qwen-MT Model for Subtitle Translation

The Qwen-MT model is a large language model for machine translation, optimized based on the Qwen model, supporting mutual translation between 92 languages (including Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, German, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Arabic, etc.). Building on multilingual mutual translation, it offers capabilities like terminology intervention, domain adaptation prompts, and translation memory to enhance the model's performance in complex application scenarios. Select a model to use from qwen-mt-plus and qwen-mt-turbo. In the main interface, simply select the Alibaba Cloud Bailian translation channel.

Using Qwen Text Generation Models for Subtitle Translation

For example, text generation models like qwen-plus/qwen-turbo can be used.

Using Qwen3-ASR for Speech Recognition

This also uses the Alibaba Cloud Bailian API. Simply enter the API key in Translation Settings - Alibaba Cloud Bailian and select a speech recognition model. Then, you can choose Qwen3-ASR in the Speech Recognition channel.
