LibreTranslate is a free and open-source machine translation API that is self-hosted, supports offline use, and is easy to set up.

It can be deployed locally for use. Video translation software v3.00 and later versions support its use.

In the software, go to Menu Bar -- Translation Settings -- LibreTranslate API, fill in the API address and API key, and test to make sure it works. Then you can use it.

Filling in the API URL

You can deploy it yourself and then fill in the API URL with the address of your local deployment. You can also use the official paid API address provided by LibreTranslate: https://libretranslate.com/translate

If you use the official address, you must fill in a valid API key, which you can purchase from their official website: https://portal.libretranslate.com/
